<p>No... Usually legacy is brother/ mom or dad... possibly grandparent, and I've heard NU doesn't value legacy as much as other schools. You'd have to have some high donor legacies for it to have alot of weight.</p>
<p>My brother got in early decision this year and his grades weren't spectacular (although his test scores were pretty good). I would say that Northwestern values legacy but not as much as some schools do.</p>
