I got a postcard in the mail at the end of October, after I submited the supplement to the common app (I forgot exactly what its called)... and it confirmed receipt of the first part of the app and told me that i would be contacted within 3 weeks by a member of the alumni committee, if one existed in my area... since I have yet to receive a call, or e-mail, or ANYTHING (and it is January 1 lol), can I safetly assume that there were no alumnae available in my area to interview me? Thank you

Yep, I'd say you would've been contacted already if there was someone near you. I got that postcard around the same time as you, and got a call within a week.

should I call the Admissions Office..... or just assume no1 is in my area.. its no big deal really, I don't care if I have ANOTHER interview.. I've already had some for schools so its not like I wouldn't be prepared for it or anything...

If you're interested in going to Wash U then having an interview wouldn't hurt. I'd call the number on the postcard and ask what the deal is.

yeah actually I think I'll do that... hey this is my 100th post lol

i just submitted the common app and supplement a few days ago....i should expect a postcard in the mail in a few weeks right? no need to call the admissions office?
