<p>At what point does penn start interviewing undergraduate applicants who applied regular decision? I applied in mid November and have not been contacted yet. Do they usually wait till after the deadline to start interviewing or do they interview applicants as they apply?</p>
<p>Generally RD applicants are interviewed in late December - February. </p>
<p>It’s simply based on the efficiency of the area coordinator and the interviewer. If assigned, they may try to get some done now in Dec as to avoid the huge crush of interviews in Jan/Feb. There’s no pattern/protocol. Plus, you may never be contacted at all- – it’s all very random.</p>
