<p>Has anyone been invited to an Alumni Reception for Accepted Students in their local area? If so, how was it?</p>
<p>Greater Washington is hosting one tonight and my parents and I will be there.</p>
<p>I went to the Tampa Bay area reception tonight and it was a pretty good time. There were only 6 students so each one got a good amount of attention. Everyone was very nice and I think it worked out pretty well.</p>
<p>We had one tonight hosted by the Greater DC Area alums. It was very-well attended. There were only a couple of public school kids and tons of privates in attendance. After talking to a lot of alumni/ae about chosen career paths, I am looking at W&L more favorably. Now if only I could get more $$$ beyond the $900 w/s....</p>
<p>I definitley agree that the alumni give W&L a very favorable view. Everyone that I met tonight seemed to love it there and all seemed overall happy with present situations. I hope everything works out with fin. aid. If I were you I would call and see if there was anything that could be worked out, I dont know if it will help but its probably worth a try.</p>
