Alumni Recommendations

<p>One of the attorneys I worked with this summer is an alum of one of the law schools I plan on applying to and could probably write me a pretty good rec. She is also the immediate past president of the alumni society.</p>

<p>Would her rec be worth anything more (at this school) since she's had much contact with this law school (i.e. being an active alum)?</p>

<p>In case it helps, I plan on applying to law school after working for a year or two (probably in the sciences, not in the legal profession).</p>

<p>A positive, insightful recommendation from an active alumn who knows your work well certainly won't hurt. I'd still include the usual number of recommendations from your professors.</p>
