Letters of Rec from Employers- Need Advice

I am preparing to apply to law schools for Fall 2015. I graduated from undergrad in Spring 2013 and have not kept in touch with any of my professors. I am planning on asking for letters from some of my supervisors. I work in a Big 4 accounting firm and am curious if anyone has any insight into who would be best to ask: a manager who works more directly with me or a partner who is actually a lawyer?

Also, how detrimental is it that I won't be submitting a reference from a professor?

Thanks for the input.

Ask the person who knows you the best; that sounds like your manager.

I also believe that you should also reach out to get an academic reference ( you have not been out of school that long)

agree with sybbie.

While a professional school, Law School likes to think of itself as a bastion of academics. Not having at least one letter from an academic will (highly likely) be a negative to your app. If you were 10+ years out of undergrad, my recommendation would be different.

And yes, your daily manager who could speak about you.
