SUMMER PROGRAMS:
(am planning on going to Cornell's Summer College if accepted) or National Youth Leadership Conference in Healthcare & Medicine to learn more about healthcare

I'm also retaking my SAT's in the spring, so hopefully, I'll raise my SATs

Go for it!

You look like a strong candidate--and you'll be even stronger if you can improve your SATs. If you want to play sports in college, you should contact the athletic coaches. I see from your list of leadership positions that you must be from PA (Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce). In that case, you MUST make an official visit and schedule an interview.

Lehigh seems to like students who can maintain a high academic standard while pursuing interests/community service outside of the classroom. Even if you can't raise your test scores, your leadership roles, athletics, community service, and class rank will make you an excellent ED candidate. Remember, though, there are never any guarantees. Make sure you have a list of colleges you'd also love to attend.

I agree with everything above. A common response to everyone who has been considering Lehigh ED has been -- visit, visit, visit, and interview. Junior Day, Open House, you name it.
As the mom of a current Lehigh freshman -- be advised -- Lehigh gives out about 100 merit scholarships to an entering class of a little over 1100. I know from experience that if you were applying today with your SATs, you would not be considered for a merit scholarship. So if you are counting on merit money because you won't get much need-based aid, don't. If you need to weigh one school's offer against another, apply ED II.
