If my parent graduated from a 4 year university but in a different country, does that make me a first gen student? Also if it does what do I choose from the drop down menu, is it ‘some college/university’?
No, not first generation. You would select they earned a 4 year degree if that is an option.
First gen, means exactly that. No one in your family has gone to college in this or any country.
