Am I a possible candidate for DuPont scholarship/other merit aid?

So recently, I had a change of heart from my initial desire to do a pre-med track undergrad and go to med school. Now, I'd definitely rather go into engineering, specifically chemical. Since Delaware apparently has such a strongly-ranked ChemE program (don't exactly know why, something to do with Dupont nearby I'd suppose), it has definitely made its way up my list in terms of places I want to go. I'm from Virginia, and my parents could pay the full OOS cost if need be, but I was wondering my chances for the full-ride DuPont scholarship, or whether I'd get any merit aid for that matter. (depending on how much need factors in to this-family is in the 150k income bracket). Note that below is just a brief summary of stats and EC's, and I didnt inculde awards/AP scores and such.

4.0 UW GPA/4.4 W GPA (6 APs taken, taking 4 next year)
34 ACT (approx. 2300 SAT)
ranked 3/500 at public HS
Scholastic bowl team captain (won district championship), varsity tennis, 160 hours volunteering

I think definitely yes for merit a nd very likely invited to scholarship weekend.

alright, thanks for the input! that’s good to hear. what exactly does the scholarship weekend consist of, and do you happen to know how many they end up inviting?

I believe they typically invite around 100 students to the scholarship weekend in March. Last year, we had lunch and dinner with the members of the scholarship committee, an information session with the department of our major, a group discussion with a short writing assignment, and an interview with two or three members of the scholarship committee. There was also a lot of time to mingle with the other Distinguished Scholars, and an opportunity to have a tour of campus. The night before and after the weekend, we were offered the option of staying on campus with a current student.
