does the fact that I am ridiculously good looking render me an URM at schools like MIT??

^from what i've seen, i would agree that this person is actually ridiculously good looking.

haha...it would probably make you an URM at Caltech as well.

haha what is this thread?

also a URM on this site am i rite ;]

haahhahahahha NO not COMPLETELY. lol

nooooooo, wow ur wrong to the max

HAHAH you crazy

Well it seems that if were both accepted into MIT we would both immediately cease to be URMs.

(Because, of course, I am so extremely handsome that I count as 1000 extremely handsome young men in the statistic.)

HAHAHAHAAH omg im so glad this isn't like one of those "i'm 1/100000000 cherokee am i a URM?"

OMG I am a black, native american, hispanic mix, first generation college, valedictorian, 2400 SAT (one sitting), 800 Math II, 800 Physics, 800 Chemistry (Subject Tests) student that has recently published six self authored research papers in world renowned science journal. I also spend my weekends teach impoverished chinese kids to speak english and personally founded a world relief organization dealing in sending food to poor african countries.

Do I even have a chance at Mit? I got an "A" in freshmen honors english (all the rest of my grades are A+) so I am really worried...

thanks guys

^My school personally redoes my report cards to put two plusses in front of the As. And I teach impoverished children in Uganda to speak French, Spanish, English, and Russian ALL IN THE SAME DAY. You are clearly not a competative applicant.

Oh yeah, and I won all the Clay Mathematics Institute Millenium prizes.

those threads really exist too

LOL.

I'm William Sidis, am I in? :D

I thought I was going to get some long response about how immature I am for making this thread--but I didn't....impressive.

Then I'm a URM too...
I'm a URM in my country.
