Am I at a disadvantage if I don't take Physics?

<p>Hi,
I'm currently a 10th grader, last year I took Biology 1 and this year I'm taking Chem 1. I had the option to drop my elective this year and take Physics along with Chemistry, but I didn't.
I'm taking IB in 11th and 12th grade and taking IB HL Chem and HL Biology. If I apply to high-ranked/selective schools, do you think I'm at a disadvantage for not taking physics? Should I take an online course or something?</p>

<p>You should take physics. It’s a core science. </p>

<p>I agree^. My intended major has nothing to do with Physics (although it is a STEM major) yet I am taking it. If you can fit it into your schedule, you should.</p>
