I’m applying to ten schools, no ED schools but maybe a couple of EA’s (UNC and maybe Georgetown). UNCs early action is Oct 15th- most everything else is due end of Nov or early Dec. I’m mainly focusing on UC applications. This summer, I came up with a college list, did some research, and wrote some drafts for the common app essay. I have friends who have finished 3 or 4 essays, or have completely finished the UC essays. Am I really behind in apps?
No. The Common App does not even open until 8/1. Yes, some people have started writing essays, but they are the minority. You are well ahead of the pack. Good luck.
