Am I doomed??

<p>So basically during my first 1 and 1/2 years of high school i accumulated 3 Ds and 6 Cs. My overall GPA is a 3.1 due to my 3.8 junior year(i also had a 3.42 2nd semester of sophomore year). Anyway im getting REAALLY nervous about college now. I'm a URM(Nigerian) planing to apply to schools such as PSU, OSU, UMd, indiana, drexel etc. So basically Top 50-Top 75. My ACT should be 28-30 by the time i take it in October. Anyway Am I doomed for Top50-75 schools???</p>

<p>With the Ds, probably. Unless you made up those classes, they won’t count as fulfilled requirements as far as colleges are concerned. You should look at doing a Post Grad at a prep school. If you work hard senior year and get a 4.0 at a post grad prep program you could get into a fair amount of places. The alternative would be to go to community college. If you get above a 3.5 at community college, you’ll probably get into the schools as a transfer student.
