Am I fine?

I submitted my ED Cornell Common App November 1st. I thought if I just submit my common app, my supplemental essay is automatically submitted together. However, I just found out that I need to submit my supplemental essay separately, and I just submitted by writing supplements, which is 4 days late. Am I OK or is it going to be treated late?

I submitted my Brown and Princeton supplements over 3 weeks late and I was admitted to both. You’re fine. (but don’t make it a habit)

@lomoso But you aren’t sure about disadvantages that I get right?

Obviously you can’t be 100% sure about anything when it comes to admissions. But I am close to certain as can be that they really won’t care.

You have to understand the amount of stuff that is going on at these admission offices, no one will notice if your supplement comes in a few days late. Also understand that admission officers aren’t your spiteful 9th grade english teacher who harps on deadlines like no tomorrow. They’re happy to see you apply, and WANT to admit you. I know that this is a really stressful time, and it’s easy to scrutinize over every little thing, but no one is going to ding you for this. So don’t worry.

@lomoso Yeah… thanks for the comment. I was just so worried because someone said that the application turned in late immediately gets separated from the others… I hope that is not the case. Thanks!
