So as of right now I have 3 As a B+ and 2 Cs. First semester senior year I had all As and one C, the C being in AP Calculus AB. I am typically an A and B student w/ a 3.8 uw throughout high school. That was my first C and my first semester grades were on the transcript sent to NYU for admissions. The B is an 89 and will go up unless there is a disaster, the first C which I think I can get up, is in IB Spanish SL and the other in AP Calc again and I don’t think I’ll be getting a B. So basically worst case scenario is 4 As and 2 Cs( or by some act of God 3 As, 1 B, and 2 Cs. Would either of these scenarios result in my admission being rescinded or am I freaking out for nothing? I have all IB classes except for AP Calc. AP Calc has just been extremely difficult for me.
@LoneBean nooooo your application is not gonna be rescinded because you got a couple C’s. they don’t normally do that unless 1. you don’t/can’t graduate or 2. you break the rules, like plagiarise or something bad like that
so yes, you’re freaking out for nothing. hahaha - obviously try to finish the year strong, but senioritis does exist and no college is gonna expect your 2nd semester grades to be perfect and amazing and top notch.
