Applying to:
UW-Madison
James Madison University
Virginia Tech
Ohio State

GPA: 3.5 (w)
Probably like a 3.3 unweighted, school does not report it though

Class Rank: 110/300

3 IB and 1 AP class senior year, 3 IB classes junior year

SAT reading/math: 1370
SAT with writing: 2080

Public high school in northern VA, top 100 in some worthless ranking

your GPA would be a killer for higher schools, but id think your fine for VTech, Ohio State, and idk much about madison and madison

i think u will be fine

You look good for the colleges you are applying to. Good lluck

Thanks, anybody else?

umm... i don't know about UW-Madison. that's actually a decently tough school.

You're in at OSU and VTech though

Anybody else? Especially for Wisconsin

Ohio State could probably be your safety, but that's the only school I am familiar with. I think your scores look quite decent, especially your SAT which will help a great deal.

Your GPA is a bit our of their range, which says 3.5-3.9, but your SAT is above their range. Your class rank is below them too, so I'd say it's maybe a low reach...not sure. It'll be close, good luck man.

Wisconsin actually seems pretty good to be honest. I mean, your stats are a little low in some areas such as rank and average but I think you're still within their range. You SAT score should help make up for some of that and with a good application and EC's I think you'd have a decent shot at it. Might not be a perfect match but there might be a possibility.
