Am I going to miss a deadline?

<p>I recently got my nomination from a senator, but I haven’t completed my application yet. I still have to write one more essay and complete the fitness assessment. I think I also have to go back to the eye doctor because he didn’t complete all the tests.</p>

<p>Would I miss a deadline if I took a while preparing for the fitness assessment? I don’t think I’m in bad shape, but I know if I trained more, I could do much better.</p>

<p>Also, When would I know if I was accepted or not? Do they mail you your decision as soon as they get all of your application or will they mail out everyone’s all on the same date?</p>

<p>They do most of the appointments (around 1000) in March.</p>

<p>My son considered putting off the CFA so he could get into better shape. For various reasons he decided not to, and it was the right choice. Unless you're doing terribly on the CFA, go ahead with it and get all your paperwork in ASAP. There are many reasons for this, but don't forget, you can afford to wait on their decision but they won't wait on yours.</p>
