Am I good for Princeton or other ivy league universities?

I am an International Student from India. I am presently in 11th Grade and Appearing for SAT this May. I want to apply for FALL 2014
My stats are
A+ grades since 9th grade(always in top 3 in school)
Numerous Medal/scholarships at national and regional level olympiads
And regarding my ECs,
I do blogging and tech reviewing
I am also learning basic app development
I am also planning to do volunteer work in summer

I have great recommendations from my teachers

So my question is, what is the ideal score I should get in SAT to make myself a good applicant for Princeton and IVY league universities?

Will my lack of ECs hamper my application?

I want to major in Computer science and Princeton is my dream school.I will require aid!

2400 (LOL, not really but get close as possible, right?)

Possibly

Princeton has great Fin Aid for internationals. But also amongst the most competitive just because of that fact.

Good luck

Ok but do i stand a chance at Princeton?

Bump!.anyone?

Yes, you stand a chance, but then so do most applicants. Your ECs,scores and grades remain only part of the picture. You have strong grades and weak ECs, but you can only really shine before the admissions committee by letting them know you, as uniquely as possible. Your essays form the remaining part of the picture. If they see as you as very interesting beyond your grades and ECs, then you stand a higher chance. You still have a lot of working time available anyway. Good luck.

As you can imagine, PU has stacks of straight A applicants with near perfect SATs and most don’t get in. On the other hand, you are much more likely to get in with your kind of scores and grades than someone without them.

Something you don’t mention is whether your school at least occasionally has students accepted. If yes, then you are in better shape because that shows the University knows and understands your high school at least a bit and also it will have more meaning when they read a teacher’s recommendation.

Extra curriculars become very important when you are already doing so well academically. The good news is you still have time to flesh this out. Join something you like and work toward being a leader. I wouldn’t bother doing something you hate, just for the application, but almost everyone has something they like, so do that.

Actually I am an international applicant from India.we rarely have any clubs or leadership opportunities. The thing I love is tech reviewing and programming and I am currently doing it.Its my only passion. Is that a good EC?

I am willing to do volunteer service here
