would like to know my chances at getting into Harvard or any other Ivy since Harvard is probably the toughest school to get into in America. Here is my high school bio. My school is one of the top five schools in the state of ohio. I am a junior in high school.

Asian American

GPA: 4.058
Class Rank: 1 out of 234
A.P. classes this year: A.P. Chem, A.P. European History, and A.P. Drawing
E.C.: Academic Challenge, Chess club, Track, science Olympiad, NHS, Ohio Math League, and possibly later Jets Team if accepted
Volunteer at hospital and trying to shoot for 150 hours by end of year
leader of religious group
Have three class awards for highest grade in class
SAT: Have not taken it yet. Would like to know in what range for the new SAT
SAT II: Same for SAT
PSAT: Not as good i would have like to have had. Made stupid mistakes in getting a 194. Could've easily gotten a 215.
Been to states for science olympiad

What is your take on these things and do you think I have a chance in getting in or should i do more. I will be taking the a.p. exams in may and possibly the sat II chemistry also . What would I also on these SAT and SAT II tests. Your input would be greatly appreciated.

hey, let's c, i want to say i see a hook and that you'll be fine if you shoot 720+ on sat iis and 2200+ on sat i, but then again im not sure because i honestly don't see a hook that makes you different from every other applicant that applies to HYPS etc, umm ur ec's are okay, a bit on the low side, if u kno what i mean. Until people see some stats, someone may be able to make a better evaluation. But so far, good job man, and i think if u go with cornell, upenn, maybe brown with these stats u shud b fine (and predicting that u get the scores i put for sat ii's with only slight aberrations)...as i said for hyps it's difficult for anyone to give accurate chances even if on paper you look perfect, so yeah but i think you have a good shot if you focus on the sat i and sat iis

thanks. i was wondering if there is any truth to that collegeconfidential ivy league calculator. it said i got and 8 out of 9 with 9 being the highest. i know a person that got rejected by a local school in ohio and got into harvard. i know how unpredictable it can be. ill just have to wait.

i was also wondering if post secondary enrollment is better than sticking to high school classes.
