When I check Boston University’s financial status page, it says “Your application for financial aid is complete. You have been awarded financial aid and your financial aid notification will be mailed shortly. Any items reported below as REQUIRED must be received before funds can be credited to your account.”
They don’t notify me until April 1st…But they have already awarded financial aid!? Does that mean I’m in?

... good question. Why don't you just call the admissions office?

hmmmm maybe i will....do they even let you know though before April 1st?

I have no clue...I didn't apply to BU. I did get an early decision from a college I applied to but it wasn't that early.

I dunno about BU, but some schools hand out financial aid before they make final decisions...they do it based on scores. I think the purpose is to attract the students to the schools even more.

I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that they have accepted you, but then again, maybe BU's rules are different, and they have. Like anovice said, calling them is a good idea.

I applied to BU regular decicion and when i saw this i checked and my financial aid page only siad that it hadn't recieved my financial aid forms yet. Did you send your fafa and profile like right on the first because a month for them to recieve it and process it seems quite quick. I send mine in two weeks ago

I sent both on 18th of January. They got my Profile right away and they got my FAFSA on Jan 31st. Hmmm I wonder why yours haven't gotten there yet--just check back everyday!

maybe they didn't actually get sent two weeks ago. My dad's financial advisor was going to fill them all out for us so maybe they didn't send them when they said they would.
