<p>My dad went to Stanford for a postdoctoral fellowship. Is considered legacy? If so, how much does it help? I am thinking of applying RD right now but if it helps significantly i might apply REA instead.</p>

<p>The Stanford supplement enables you to indicate if anyone in your family receive a DEGREE from the University. Since he did not receive a degree from Stanford, you are not a legacy.</p>
<p>You should apply REA if Stanford is your first choice and if you’d be able to present a competitive, compelling application by the November 1st deadline.</p>
