Am I looking at the right schools?

Thanks haha. I actually considered UPenn/Cornell/NYU through the rankings and now I know about about em.

haha and yeah Davis is the 'cow town'..

hmm maybe I should post this into the "what are my chances" threads soon..

I don't think your list is limited at all, but as others suggested, check out some of the other top-ranked (and I mean anywhere in the top 30) business schools, so that you can be on the safe side. On another note, I'd say the top of your list -- most notably Berkeley -- is a slight reach - reach right now, even assuming in-state residency (GPA slightly weak, SAT a bit weak, competitive major, etc.). You should retake the SAT for a higher CR score, too.

I'd like to add that our school doesn't offer AP class, nor does it offer a "weighted" GPA. I know at some schools, when people take IB classes, GPAs are out of 5.0. Not at ours :)

Bumpity Bump

Boston University School of Management might be a match. My S's former roommate is in the honors program there. He was accepted at NYU but BU offered him a half-tuition scholarship. It's an intense program.

Can anyone recommend a safety school in NY or CA (good for business)? Thanks.

I notice how commenting too much on my own posts kills it..
Next time, I should post something and respond after a few days :)
