One of the schools I've applied to, UCSC, seems to have the unique distinction of not having a place to login and check admission decisions on their site. Maybe I'm just blind or otherwise incapacitated but can someone tell me if this is true or not? If not, what the link is. One of the Universities I've applied to is UCB (my primary) and I feel as just having to ask this question has made me inadequate for their campus already. Thanks in advance!

I have never even log in to UCD, UCSD and UCLA's website once.

in case you ever want to, I check it an unhealthy 3 or so times a day

heh, i either get in or get rejected, what's the big deal...

i learned not to care.

i just checked actually and nothing happened

I have alot riding on being accepted to Berkeley. Though I'm sure many of you do if it's your primary. If I don't get accepted to Berkeley I'll likely have to move down south to UCLA or UCSD, away from the girlfriend I live with. :(

I suppose since I've ventured this far I may as well post my situation; if for no other reason for my own recollection. My GPA as of application was 3.54, my final GPA is likely to be anywhere between 3.54 and 3.66.

I have no work experience during this time and no extracurricular activities. I have displayed extreme improvement since my first start in Community College. I was actually in poor standing with my former Community College which I acredit to severe depression from the loss of a 3 1/2 year former relationship and the death of my father shortly after. I've rised from a sub-1.00 GPA to my current in about 2 years time. I was sure to also mention in my essays the 11 years of guitar and 2-3 years of rock climbing I do.

Otherwise I'm also a California resident which is slightly helpful.
I'm becoming very worried that I might have to move down south and was advised by my counselor that I have a likely chance of getting into Berkeley and should appeal if I don't. I'm very much what you would consider a longshot at Berkeley (or maybe just pessimistic).

Sorry about the rambling, I'm clearly nervous and also run a forums of my own so I'm used to being a bit wordy in my posts.
I'm curious as to who else has applied to some UCs and received acceptance letters along with their vital academic stats. Again, thanks in advance for your reply.

aiye man, i feel your pain.

i never had a relationship, and the girl i liked for 3 or 4 years went out with another guy (i got to know that at the same time i got to know my college rejections)

well, then there was an amazing thing happened that upheld my sanity.
I did not get depressed, and i keep fought on.

But now I am worried. My GPA is slipping and I only have 4 days to prepare for my finals now. If I don't get As on them I don't get A.

Best of luck to you! 4 days until finals? You guys finish very early, my school finishes may 23rd.

it's a quarter school.

my.ucsc.edu

I found this site as well but I think this is only for current students and faculty. The website I'm looking for is for current applicants to check decisions. Perhaps I'm wrong, if so I'm curious how I can find out my username/password since I don't recall any username/password for them.

my.ucsc.edu is for everyone; at least it was last year. It's where I found my admission decision.

Obviously, though, you need a student number and password to log in. If you didn't get one of those through the mail as you should have, I suggest calling/emailing someone about it. help@ucsc.edu is where they usually direct you; try that?

i hope you get in silver. you really deserve it.

That's very kind of you to say and thank you. Also, thank you undecided on your help, I sent an e-mail out as you suggested, not sure what the turn around time will be considering it's a weekend but thanks for the help. This is only my first day on this forums and I'm already very impressed with the amount of community involvement and eagerness to help.
Hopefully where ever I end up I can make some friends with many of you.
