So I, like many here have been waiting months to hear a decision from the schools I applied to. It would be kinda annoying to type in my portal info and just have the decision pop up right away if I wasn’t expecting it. I want to drag out the experience and really prepare myself for what I’m going to see lol. So my question is: for transfer applicants to UCLA, UC Berkeley, UCSD, UC Davis, does the decision pop up right away after you enter your login information? Do you have to click on an additional button to display changes made to your application status? If you’ve transferred to a UC before or if you haven’t yet, but know the answer anyway please let me know. Also, if you know the answer to other UCs feel free to type them in the comments so nobody else risks getting a sudden underwhelming response.
I would love to know this as well. I really would hate to just get slapped with a rejection letter right after logging on lol.
You have to click on something. As I recall…
If they haven’t changed it since I was a high school senior you have to click. No spoilers here.
So is the extra button for all of them or just some? For some reason I seem to remember someone say that the congratulations banner popped up right away for UCLA, but I might just be remembering wrong.
I got into UCLA out of HS and it said Congrats right when I logged in
@francescap Well that would either be really cool or really sad lol. I really hope I get what you got.
Thinking more about it, I think Francescap is right. The click I’m thinking of is the login to portal. But definitely you can prepare yourself before the submit button.
@Ohm888 I could, but I just don’t want to have a situation where I get ready for the decision and I finally press the button and then it just takes me to the portal home and I have to press another button. It’s a moment I’ve been waiting for for a long time and I want it to be super intense when I finally see what the decision is (obviously hoping for the acceptance). Lol it sounds kinda stupid when I type it out, but that’s my thought process, in case anyone cares.
Do any of you know if it’s the same for the other UCs I listed?
