Am I on the right track - MIT, Stanford, Princeton, etc.

Hi everyone,

I'm a sophomore, and currently checking to see whether I'm on the right track for places like MIT, Stanford, Princeton.

Unweighted GPA: 3.9
School doesn't do weighted

Freshman schedule:

Multivariable Calculus (EPGY)

Orchestra
Gym

Sophomore schedule:

Linear Algebra/Differential Equations (EPGY)
AP US History
AP Biology
AP Chemistry

AP World History - 3 (I'm kicking my self for this one, probably will retake)

Extracurriculars (this is where I am hoping to do well):

I lead an open source project with a team of about 30 people that's been covered in TED talks

I run a software consulting company

I am a paid blogger for a programming-related blog

I run a software startup (Nimblenotes)

I made ISEF freshman year - will do it again this year (with a lot more effort)

AIME qualifier twice (working on taking this to the next step)

President of Robotics Club

I run a very popular technical blog, with 1000's of pageviews a day

What do you guys think?

Are you serious, why are you even worried. You took MVC freshman year, a class that most kids take sophmore year in college!

AP Calc in 8th grade? My Lord, I didn’t think that to be possible…let alone a 5.

I would be seriously surprised if you did not get into every school you are applying to.

Thanks for the remarks. Anyone else have any comments?

Anything I’m missing that I should work on?

Hey, you have a great profile.
