Am I on the right track?

hi all,
i apologize in advance if this a stupid post! and thank you for reading I appreciate it

i’m a freshman and my dream school is probably Northwestern(i know it’s a stretch) and I really want to go into the medical field in the future. am i on the right track?

my current courseload is:

eng 9 (required, everyone takes the same course)
modern world history (required, everyone takes the same course)
french 1
algebra 2
PE Sports (cross country first semester and now i’m on the swim team)
orchestra

i struggled to manage my time and make an effort to get help (i know that wasn’t very smart of me) and did very poorly in algebra 2 honors so I dropped to algebra 2 regular this semester but I am currently getting an A in the class… I also have the opportunity to replace the bad grade on my transcripts with an online course that I am taking right now

At the moment, my GPA is 4.0

I also plan to take biology over summer.

Current Extracurricular Activities include:

-orchestra
-swim team (jv–i can probably move up to varsity in the next few weeks)
-destination imagination
-newspaper
-ASB
-piano

Leadership:
concertmaster (first chair) of the orchestra
class treasurer

I know that I should definitely volunteer more…

What else should I do?

thanksss

You should try to take honors and AP classes next year as you don’t have any now. Also try to get leadershup roles in your ecs. If you want to go into medicine, you should join HOSA

Where is your science course for freshman year? I know you’re taking biology over the summer, but I find it a little weird how you didn’t take a science course…If you really want an answer on the matter if you’re “on track” or not, I would provide a 4-Year Plan.

^^science is very important
