Probably because he wouldn’t want to play baseball there because of D1 status? Or, the curriculum would be to rigorous, thus, no time for sports?

By the way repectful, good shots at all schools. Are you going to be a junior? Or, what?

Yeah I recommend looking at Georgia Tech, U. Michigan, Berkeley, UIUC. The choices you have right now are out of reach for you.

Check out [University of California, Berkeley](http://www.stanfordrejects.com) for more info.

Kanchima: Best of Luck.

Disagr: I’m not sure if the first of your response is a question or an answer? I wouldn’t play baseball at Stanford because I’m not good enough, but at Yale and Princeton I would have to get in to the school unassisted and then I could walk on. I am now a senior. Thanks.

Asian75: Well, I have to hope that you’re wrong. I like UCLA more than Berkeley, and I may apply to Michigan because my father is an alumnus. I feel like my resume is at least competitive and maybe baseball puts me over the edge. I hope they aren’t out of reach, and through my research Imhave seen kids who have gotten in with “lesser” stats. Only time will tell. Thanks.

Well guys here is my college list at this point:

Reach 6: MIT, Caltech, Princeton, Yale, Stanford, Cornell
Target 5: Harvey Mudd, UCLA, Tufts, Swarthmore, Whitman
Safety 3: Occidental, Rose-Hulman, RPI

Any thoughts?

If Cornell is in your reach group, HMC should definitely be as well.

Love 'em natural filters.

Ok gotcha. Yeah actually HMC and Swarthmore are probably both reaches. Idk I feel like my application is strong but those all are such great schools that they are reaches for nearly everyone.
