Am I pretty safe?

I live in the state of Washington. I go to a pretty big schools that typically has a few kids go to Ivy league type schools. I would like to major in journalism/broadcast journalism. Can I consider myself probably a safe bet to get into UW?

UW is definitely a match for you, and as long as you don't screw up on your essays, I'd say you'll probably get in. However it's important to not be overly confident and consider yourself a shoo-in, there were people with 3.8 and otherwise good stats who were rejected from UW this year due to crazy admissions, and next year is expected to be even more competitive. Nevertheless, I believe that those people are the exception not the rule.

I agree with collegeseeker200. The only reason you wouldn't is because of too many applicants, but I'm sure you have a very good chance.
