<p>But seriously, Northwestern was not my favorite. It has a nice campus and is in a good location but I didn't want to live in Chicago. I also didn't like how they run their undergrad program. But some love it. It is just personal prefrence but it just wasn't the place for me.</p>

<p>Northwestern has a collection of very good pre-professional schools, most notably the Medill School of Journalism. Students apply for these schools when they apply to Northwestern in order to take classes with their faculty as an undergrad. Even outside of the pre-professional schools Northwestern has a lot of very strong departments in the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences.</p>
<p>Some parts of the campus in Evanston are very nice, and some parts really are more utilitarian than jaw-droppingly pretty. However, most students I have talked to say that they definitely don't regret the decision they made to attend, and most are very enthusiastic about the school (but not so much for the cold weather during winter).</p>
<p>My sixth grade French teacher was Bulgarian. I'm sorry, but I didn't like her very much. But I do credit her as the reason I was able to breeze through French for two years after that without having to learn anything extra. :)</p>
<p>Northwestern? Excellent university. Top-notch medicine, chemistry, and journalism programs.</p>
<p>I'm applying there so it better be good!!!I'm into communication so it's an excellent school.I loved the campus and chicago kick asss!!!!</p>
