Am I required to submit AP exam scores to UCD?

I’m a transfer student and I accepted my admission to UCD and in myadmissions it says:
Now that you have accepted your admission to UC Davis, there are additional tasks you must complete prior to your registration for classes. Not completing these requirements may cause a hold on your registration or loss of residency or financial aid.

One of these tasks is submitting AP/IB exam scores, which I have not done and really do not plan on doing because I did not get a 3 or higher on the AP exam and it would cost 15 dollars to send the scores to UCD. I also lost the AP number.

But after reading this statement:
Your UC Davis conditions of admission require that you submit your official scores for the Advance Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma or exams to our Undergraduate Admissions office by January 31, 2010. If you have not submitted these scores, please contact the testing agencies and request that they be submitted to our office

It seems that I am “required” to submit my official scores. Then again, why would it be necessary if I will not be getting college credits due to receiving a score below 3? Can I pass from submitting my AP scores altogether? I dont want to be denied admissions or something terrible because of something so silly such as this.

you should call them

How come it says January 2010? That passed a few months ago…
