Am I screwed for Berkeley

So I recently just got waitlisted to UCLA.. and I applied for Engineering. A couple of my stats:
4.0 UW
4.37 UC GPA
4.575 (10-11)
32 ACT
770 Math 2
And honestly pretty good ECs, I applied undeclared for Berkeley. Do I really not have a chance?

ACT is a little bit low for Eng’g, but you have a chance.

I know, I applied undeclared for Berkeley, and I live in California. Honestly what do my chances look like?

Just curious, are you from Southern California or Northern California? Last year my L&S son was wait listed by UCLA and was awarded a Regents Scholarship at Berkeley, so you never know. My co-workers daughter was rejected by UCLA & UCSD, wait listed at UCI, but admitted to Berkeley. But that was for Bio.

Southern California

Undeclared Eng’g or Undeclared under L&S?

You never know!

@2018dad Undeclared Pre Business Administration

I was wait listed for UCLA and got into Berkeley! So were a ton of people that I know. So there is always a chance! :)

You have a good chance. Intended major at L&S is irrelevant. Basically all incoming Freshmen at L&S are pre-major.

Thank you very much anybody else?

Of course you have a chance, it is just that even with the top stats, a chance is not a guaranty. http://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/campuses/files/freshman-profiles-ca/freshman-profile-ca-ucb.pdf

Anyone have a sense of whether it’s easier or harder to get into college of natural resources?

Thanks, what do other people think about this?

Ultimately, it’s really hard to tell. I want to say that Berkeley looks at each person holistically based on my case.

I was rejected UCLA, waitlist and eventually rejected UCSD, but I was accepted into Berkeley with an intended L&S CS major.

Your GPA is much better what mine was.
