Chances for UCLA, Berkeley, UCSD

Well...I applied to several UC's and I assume that I will get into most, but I'm not sure about UCLA, UCB, and UCSD.

I'm a California resident and ELC status.

I have an unweighted GPA of 4.0, weighted 4.41, and UC, not sure, but I think it is about 4.3.

I attend a very prestigious public school.

SAT I--2210
SAT II-Literature--720, US-780

EC's-pretty solid, not a laundry list, but very dedicated to a few good programs.

My personal statements are pretty well written as well.

I'm worried abut nor getting a Regents Invitation to UCLA; I got one for Santa Cruz, but that's it so far.

So...what are my chances?

since you live in CA, and you have pretty good stats, I would say all UC's except maybe Berkeley are matches

UCB/UCLA: Match
UCSD: Safety

Hm...but I think UCLA is harder than Berkeley to get into now!!!!

Nope, it's just an example of how statistics misguide us. Although the acceptance rate is lower for UCLA than Berkeley, Berkeley receives more quality applicants than UCLA. Most people will apply to UCLA just for the "heck of it," while the same does not apply to Berkeley to a near extent.
