I sent in all my apps through Common App on the 1st.
That was my deadline. I sent them literally 5 minutes after New Years.
The Common App says, "Downloaded: 1/2/2012"</p>
<p>I sent them before the deadline was done. Why does it say this?
My payment email states I payed for all of them on the 1st.</p>
<p>Am I screwed???</p>
<p>I really think that it is okay. It must have just taken a few minutes to load. College admissions offices are all on vacation anyway and if you look around these boards there are PLENTY of success stories and reassurances about applications that were less than a day or two late.</p>
<p>Downloaded means that the SCHOOL open the file to look at ;D
At least, that’s what it means for rec letters… if they were downloaded, then the school has a copy :)</p>
<p>YuhikoJay is correct. Downloaded means the school has either exported your data or printed your App.<br>
So, the Progression is: In-progress > Submitted > Downloaded.</p>
<p>I had the date show up as the day after on the common app too, and I got accepted into my top college. If the school has downloaded your app, then no worries, they’ll look at it.</p>
