Just the B's bother me, and I did not deserve the B's in my freshmen science classes because of student and teacher conflicts ( I just don't know how I can explain them when I apply to college)

Thanks!

yes, your life is doomed forever!

wow okay i think i’m just going to go hide under a rock waiting for my rejection letter now

Posts like this are the reason why I hate this website.

Bs will not kill you when applying to MIT. MIT will forgive a few Bs if you challenge yourself, take risks, demonstrate passion for what you do, and otherwise match the personality MIT is looking for in its students.

Don’t try to explain the B’s in science classes in your freshman year–just keep doing well.

Looking at your record in chemistry, for example, I think you can safely assume that your later AP and SAT II record of A/A/5/800 completely cancels out the earlier B in honors chemistry.

If you try to explain the B’s in terms of “student and teacher conflicts,” your explanation can only hurt you. With regard to chemistry, it would make you look grade-obsessed, and with regard to “conflicts,” part of life is learning how to manage them without complaining.
