Am i screwed? :(

To start off heres some background info of me...
-Asian
-Male
- Current sophomore and will be going to junior year in a couple of months
- go to a semi- competitive public school (in the top 300 high schools in the country)
- have had stuttered speech syndrome for a good majority of my life ( as a result of this i joined the national organization for this disorder and plan on applying for a youth leadership position in the organization over the summer)
- Because of my stutter, i have PERSONALLY DISCOURAGED myself from joining any clubs or sports teams in school due to the fear of talking, even though i have a considerable amount of friends in school
- I also believe that my stutter has also sucked the academic drive out of me aswell, as i'm often scared to ask questions during class ( and suffer on my test grades as a result of it)
- after coming to high school i have developed a serious procrastination problem aswell( like finishing my homework on the bus and during my lunch period)

So here are some dreaded numbers...

FRESHMAN YEAR
3.32 (Unweighted and Weighted) ( no honors or ap classes)
no ec's in school
100 hours of volunteering at elderly care facility

SOPHOMORE YEAR ( as of the last semester of 10th grade)
3.38 ( unweighted)
3.44 (weighted) ( 1 honors course + 1 ap weighted course)
no ec's in school
120 hours at the same facility (so far)

JUNIOR YEAR SCHEDULE ( not a junior yet)
AP enviro
AP stat
AP euro
hon human anatomy
hon global studies
regular calculus

hypothetically if i do well junior year i can potentially get a weighted GPA of a 4.5 for that year. And im pretty sure i could motivate myself to join a couple clubs and sports teams as-well. And if i muster the courage, during senior year I could start a club in my school for students suffering from similar disabilities like mine ( Tourettes Syndrome, OCD, ADHD etc...)

If i can change and do well my junior year, what would my chances at...
( and how would these schools view my potentially upward trend of GPA, and this awkward start of extracurriculars junior year?)

-Rutgers at New Brunswick ( my brother went here )
-Texas A&M
-Drexel
-NYU
-RPI ( Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute)
-RIT
-Penn State
-Purdue
-GWU
and West Point

While I commend your desire to attend USMA, may I suggest that top academics, demonstrated leadership are essential. Also, a highly focused desire to lead soldiers in a time when the country is at the twilight of two decade-long wars – should be your main purpose. USMA is not a stepping stone or a place to prove yourself. Plz consider this option extremely carefully.

Good luck to you

What state do you live in? All but one of those big public Us will be out of state for you and thus hideously expensive. If your parents have the money and are willing to pay, that’s OK. But if they don’t or they aren’t then you need to drop the unaffordables from your list.

Now that you have a handle on your study and speech issues, it would be a good idea to step things up. Ask questions. Join clubs. Take some chances. Do your guidance counselor and the school disability team know about the stuttering? If not they should. There may be some simple accommodations that your teachers can be requested to implement so that it is easier for you to participate in class.
