Am I stupid?!

I took the PSAT today and did terribly. I left half the questions blank (except for the writing/grammar section). I suck at math and critical reading, even though Iove reading and want to be a writer! All of my friends understand just about everything in algebra 2 class, yet I'm often confused. I'm a sophomore in pre-AP classes, so u guess that counts for something, but I still feel like such an idiot everyday! I'm not very knowledgeable in any subjects (even though I want to be), but I can barely focus on reading and understanding what I read. All my friends perform much better at everything than me and have much higher class ranks. I also can't study well and don't fell that I even have the mental capacity to do so. Why am I so stupid?! Is there any way I can increase my very low brain capacity?! I have great visions of the future u witeh to fullril (learning Spanish and other languages, going to a great university/liberal art college, traveling, and many other things). Please help me, any tips at all are appreciated. Thank you!
P.S. If it's any use, my GPA is about 3.5 unweighted

Don’t worry. For one, psat or any test doesn’t accurately measure everyone anyway.

Second, some people are just smart, so don’t compare. Don’t judge their (or your) smartness level on their classes; they may be smarter than others and are one of those people who are lucid thinkers and can reason out a problem naturally.

To help brain capacity, I would recommend a small thing: MEMORIZATION.

Just memorize maybe parts of a book, or math equations, or random trivia, but just memorize and review over what you have memorized so you eventually become used to handling a lot of info. I don’t mean cramming because you gotta make sure your actually trying to remember ( its ok if you don’t remember everything you’ve memorized but try not to have the info come in 1 ear and go out the other)

This seriously helps.

There is no such thing as someone who is smart or stupid, It’s what our society defines by smart. We typically define smart usually based on statistics. For example, someone with straight A’s. We would typically say that that person is smart, but does that define him. I mean he could be doing some real stupid stuff that you can probably think of. No one is really smart or stupid, I prefer the term as people who are oblivious or who are insightful. Just be happy about yourself, and don’t let statistics define you.
