To what degree are my PSAT scores an indicator of how well I'll do on the SAT?? I hope not this bad!! eek. Has anyone seen people do a complete 180 as far as going from PSAT to SAT scores (good to bad..)?

I want the following scores on the SAT (which I'll be taking in march).
700's(reading), 600's(math), 600-700's(writing). Is that possible you think?

i get my psat results thursday, so calm down. Take a breather. And see what your weaknesses are. You can turn things around, or let them get worse. It's up to you.

For me, when I took the PSATS (I'm a senior now so that was more than a year ago) I got a 69 Math, 59 Verbal and a 44 Writing (Embarassing)

I did not prepare with anything, and waddya know, my first SAT ended up being 600V and 680M... I was stupid for not taking a class, or preparing after that because my second SAT was only 600V and 700V.

From my experiences I reallllly think you should take a class, I highly recommend it. I wish I did. One of my friends took a princeton review class and moved up from a 1200~ all the way to a 1400!!! I was ****ed because I know i'm smarter than him lol, but still just take classes it's worth it

Anyway it's totally possible. Especially with writing, I did the kaplan review book and I had a 44 writing and moved to a 69 on the actual SAT II.

i went from a 186 to a 220 this year
anything is possible (unless this year you had already prepared for it by taking a prep course or something, cuz i went into my sophomore year cold turkey, as in not knowing that there were three different sections, not knowing how long it was, etc.)
