Am I supposed to talk about my intended major for UC prompts?

I've been hearing that i should explain how the world i grew in made me want to be an engineer. How important is it that i mention that? Or is it just as good to just describe how it made me who i am as a person and changed my mindset instead of how it made me love engineering. I mean i'll mention a little bit about how it made me want to be an engineer but i don't want that to be my main focus.

By the way, the prompt is:
Describe the world you come from — for example, your family, community or school — and tell us how your world has shaped your dreams and aspirations.

Bump

Don’t bump when you are on top.

Refer to the prompt, it is a very clear and elegant prompt.

bump
A lot of example essays i’ve been reading online haven’t been mentioning how it has shaped their dreams and aspirations. It just tells about a problem that lasted for a long period of time of their life and what they learned from it. Not how it made them want to go towards a specific major. So i’m a bit confused
