Am I taking the enough classes?

Freshman and Sophomore year I took the max amount of classes my umbrella school would let me take.
I’ll be a junior this fall and I’ve decided to take these courses
English 3
Algebra 2
American History
Chemistry with lab
Spanish 2
Psychology

And if all goes as planned I’ll also take dual enrollment College Writing 1.

My senior year plan is
English 4
Pre calculus
Economics
U.S. Government
Physics with lab
and maybe dual enrollment College Writing 2.

I would be taking more, but because I took 8 classes freshman and sophomore year, I don’t have many more requirements to fill.

Should I take some classes even if I don’t need them? Like sociology or something else?

If you are college bound, then I’d encourage you to take more classes unless you are doing other important things like working or extensive volunteering or following some passion. Another option is county college class which you can transfer in to your college.

I’d recommend continuing with Spanish your senior year.
