I’ve been ready for college since freshman year lol. I’m a junior so it’s so close yet so far away. I’m mostly ready for this year to be over because I know senior year is gonna be fun.

Oh lordie, 8th grade is too early! I made the mistake of dwelling on college throughout high school and now, as a senior, I’m realizing how much I missed out on enjoying high school life.

If I was in the 8th grade right now, i’d just throw myself out of a window lol. Getting too excited for high school that early is no bueno. Such a long wait!

I thought about college for a few days in seventh grade, but then I figured it was pointless to think about because it was so hopelessly far away I couldn’t even imagine what anything would be like. Now it’s coming next fall (2014-2015 school year) for me, and I don’t think I’ll be able to be excited until I know for certain where I’m going. I hate hypotheticals and/or getting my hopes up.

I kinda just wanna know where I’ll get accepted lol.

Yup…I’m a junior. I feel like I’ve had enough with high school, except for our upcoming prom and Disney trip
I honestly just want graduation to get here already so I can walk down that aisle with my diploma and head to college. On the other hand, I’m so dependent on my parents. Like I’m prepping for surgery currently, and I’m wondering if I had to have this done as a college student, who’d be there for me if I was across the continent? Or even something as simple as my laundry, or making dinner/lunch. I’m indecisive.

I wish I could have had at least an idea of the colleges I want to go during freshman year so I could have been better prepared for all this college application stuff. My grades are very good but when I started to apply to colleges, I realized how little activities I had. lol I wish I could have joined more clubs and participate in at least one sport beginning of freshman year, so I could look smart and well rounded. If i have a list of colleges of where I was thinking about going to, I could have gone one a number of college trips during my summers instead of sitting at home doing nothing. lol Now I’m a senior who’s receiving acceptances from different types of colleges and never visited at least 2. lol :p

Haha as many have mentioned above… Sophomore year I remember watching my close friend graduate and being completely jealous that she was out of there… but now that it’s my turn to go to college… I’m excited for the social parts but…

Actually what am I saying… I’m 110% excited and ready for college. High school was easy enough but it’s time to leave.

My mind is definitely elsewhere now. I’ve finally committed on my future school, and I have been slacking HARD on my homework. Of course I’m still passing the classes. I can’t wait for this year to end and a new book/chapter to begin!
