Am I the only person without a cellphone and Ipod

I do not own my own cellphone, but use one of those in the family when I need to be picked up or will be out of the house on bike. (The tires have burst a few times, and cell phones have been rather useful, particularly when the only alternative is to walk 20 miles back home.)

i have a cell phone.

but i don't have an iPod: i have a CREATIVE MEDIA NOMAD ZEN JUKEBOX X-TRA. get it right!

storage capacity 60 gigabytes (not quite enough to contain my enormous music collection, but close enough), simple (it plays music, and it does it well. i hate all these gadgets that try to do 1000123123012 things at the same time and suck at all of them), and best of all: no Apple tax.

Whats an Apple tax?
60gb=12K songs, each song=5 megs mp3!!!!aaah

i suppose apple tax is that extra $30-40 you pay just for your mp3 player to have the iPod word and a bitten apple logo on the back.

I've had a cell phone for a while, but I really like the old ones. No color, no stupid flipiness, just a PHONE! And I don't have an iPod. My parents were going to get me one for my birthday, but I don't want one. I know I wouldn't use it. My little sister got one for her birthday, though. What a waste of $$.

I don't have either.

However, I'll probably buy an iPod with a student discount after this (senior) year. $270 makes it more attractive...

I've had a cell phone for a while and recently got an Ipod.

hey, to the ppl who hate iPods....why?:)
I was thinking of getting one w/ that Macbook+iPod sale thing.

I used to think that iPods were overpriced at underfeatured.

I would say that there are still models available that offer more features than the iPod, but like I said, at $270 after student discount, it is no longer overpriced.

The only reason apple hasn't gone out of business yet is that there is a lot of people out there who buy flashy things that look cool no matter how many features they lack and how much they are overpriced instead of doing some research and thinking what they should get to get maximum performance and flexibility for the money they pay. I guess that says it all. Go ahead, buy your ipods and macs, be sheep in the flock.

Farbrizio, I got mine for $240 on Amazon.com. There's lots of good deals on the internet. Except it's only a G3, but I don't mind.

You're not alone: I refuse both in the name of the revolution. (Pay phones and Walkmans forever.)

I've got a cell phone but not an i-pod

Ipod =
overpriced (kinda, but not really)
underfeatured - watching videos on it totally makes up for it IMO. All of the additional stuff is expensive though but it just looks so sleek and has so much memory. It may not be the most cost-effective media player but it just makes you feel good having one. I'm a very recent Ipod owner.

I used to have a Creative MuVo but it broke so yes I did research but, of all the media stuff I've had, I like the Ipod the best.
