Am I thinking too much about it? (major)

Right now my major is nursing, my parents are forcing me to do it because they are both nurses and they know the in's and out's of the business. Unfortunately its not something I really want to do. Although I sort of agree with them, it is a practical degree.

I was thinking of changing it into one of the sciences of either Chem or Bio, not necessarily for med school but to be some sort of scientist but I dont know how that will handle.

Then there is my knack for business. Like I said before, it would be nice to be involved in the top tier of the field some time later in my career.

IMORTANT PART:
Right now I cant help decide choosing a major. I often recently browse the cc forums and the common advice of either doing what you love, take general classes first, find what youre good at etc... tips always come up.

Right now im seriously thinking of trying to get a B.S in finance or accounting. But every 5 minutes I always end up thinking about my future. Things totally unecessary (at this point in time) always come up like, what would I end up doing after my bachelors? What job would I get? Should I get my masters? Should I transfer? Would people hire me?

All these questions are further obscuring me from an decision and raising more problems than answers.

Then again, am I worrying too much in the first place? I find myself stressing out too much because I am worried about my plans in the future? All I really want is job security and decent pay. Sure yes, if I do major in some area of business, the prestige of the field and opportunities intrigue me.

Im not really asking for sympathy but rather more helpful advice (other than the other stuff stated above) or a testimony from personal experience.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Think this:
In ten years, do you want to be working all day, every day doing something you hate? I did that over the summer to pay for college, and it’s miserable. Let me tell you. Miserable. I never ever ever want to do that again. My summer was a waste of time.
Study something you love. Don’t waste your time doing anything else. Don’t look for what the world needs. Look for what makes you come alive and study that. Because what you need, and what the world needs the most is more people who have come alive.

There are not a lot of pure science jobs (and the better ones require a graduate degree). Chemistry and biology tend to have the worst job and career prospects of the sciences, since they are less recruitable for alternative jobs like finance that look for math, statistics, and physics majors (for their math skills). Also, the number of biology graduates is huge, adding to the competition for the few good jobs in the subject.
