Forget the shipping. For the video and music alone it’s a bargain. Then the shipping /prices and still a great deal. Other family members can hop also and use it. So really a great deal actually… I get all the new music for free and at my finger tips. The Amazon series are actually really good/movies. So yea.

For those of you saying everyone in your house/family (extended family?) uses it, how do you share your Prime with them? Does everyone just use the same log in?
I used to be grandfathered in on the old Prime where you could share your benefit with several other users. Now with Household Account only one other adult can get the benefits. One of my kids had a teen account in the Household account but could only ship to our address.
I’m thinking spouse and I could use my primary account and everyone else use the second “adult” account. I use mine for gifts for everyone so don’t want them to see my orders!
We are also grandfathered in on my son’s account. It’s only shipping and he doesn’t share his account info so no streaming or music. I asked if he wanted us to pay for our share and he said that wasn’t necessary. I suspect things will stay that way until Amazon finds a way to kick us off.

When my older son was in college we just used his log in. He graduated and the price went up so now we use my other sons who is a freshman in college. We use his log in but I have my credit card added.

Amazon doesn’t have the best prices anymore, we now go straight to the sources to order them. I think in total we may have 2-3 orders last year, we noticed even without prime membership we get delivery when our neighbors get them, pretty much daily.

Music? We use watch shows/movies on Prime. What music is included? (That may be helpful for running tunes - currently trying freebie iheart app)

Amazon music of course.

It’s included but there is a more extensive version so watch out but when new music drops I can download it to my whatever, I can listen with no internet like on a plane, and some times some music isn’t avaliable for whatever reason. The codec is pretty good and sounds great from phone to Bluetooth car stereo. But I also use Tune In radio free version in the car also.
Take 5 minutes and read what you get. I think it’s a great deal. Sure $99.00 is much better but…
I just cleaned the house. Turned on my TV with firestick. Went to Amazon music app and listened while cleaning…
Cool… will look into it. Some of the music stuff is available even for folks without Prime
Also if you have a Kindle, there’s Prime Reading and First Look….not as many titles as Kindle Unlimited, but it’s something!

I finally made D2 get her own account. I was tired of getting emails every time she ordered something, and then she made a comment about something I had ordered (“you should have ordered it from such and such place, it’s cheaper”). I thought, okay, that’s enough. She’s a working attorney, she can afford her own account.

I fought them fiercely on this issue. In my case, the item never arrived and they would refund the price. In the meantime, the price increased by about $60. Was turfed back and forth between seller and Amazon. I finally went on Amazon facebook page, told the entire story and within 5 minutes a rep. asked me to contact them by email. It took about 2 hours, but I ended up getting a credit on my account for the full difference which was applied when I reordered the item.
