I also got two emails. Perhaps it was a glitch. But on the portal it says semi-finalist.

Yay!!! I got two emails too. One saying I was rejected and the other saying I was accepted! I’m so excited to start this process. I have been said no to by too many scholarship opportunities; this would be my first official yes. Congrats to everyone who made it and good luck! =D>

Got two e-mails but it says in my portal that I’m a semi-finalist. Congrats to everyone who got it and even if you didn’t, don’t worry! There will be plenty of amazing oppurtunities en route to all of you.
Lol Semi-finalist as well, got the rejection email first and then 10 minutes later got the congratulations email. Anybody know how many people are semi-finalists or how many applied in the first place?
@Runners a thread last year said they made 5000 students semifinalist but I’m not too sure about that now.

I got two emails also. One saying sorry, and the next one saying semifinalist. But the semifinalist application is up and working for me, so it must have been a big glitch in the system.
Yeah they just sent an apology email and said rest assured we are semi finalists

@Fuzerabit Nope! Oh well. I have applied to so manyscholarships and haven’t received one yet. Really discouraging as I have no idea what would have made me a more appealing applicant…

I’m really sorry. Apply to as many as you can and hopefully things will turn around for you.
That’s outside scholarships for you. Each is very competitive, and you tend to see the same kids at the top.
It’s a numbers game. If you want one scholarship, you gotta apply to at least ten. @SpicyTaquito
