I was also chosen as a semi-finalist for the Amazon Student Scholarship. It does seem like a marketing ploy, but I’m not against being awarded $5,000. Best of luck to everyone else who made it to this round!

Hey everyone, late but I was a semi-finalist too. The criteria is to have Student Membership (which doesn’t require Prime). :slight_smile:

Does anyone know when winners are announced? I am a semifinalist but I have not received any email with either good or bad news

@Bri246 I asked them and they said notifications will be sent by the end of April.

I think this is the first year Amazon has offered this scholarship, which would mean that there aren’t any past winners

Yea I wish there was an exact date when winners would be notified. They said the same thing to me when I called. End of April… And I am pretty sure this is the first year of the scholarship. Can’t wait to find out. I wish there were more stats or specific dates. Like how many semi-finalist were selected…

I know 50 of us will get something, either the merit scholarship or gift card for books. I wonder how many finalists were chosen.

I know April is almost over! And I need to know if I can afford to go to school next semester. Lol. Only 4 days left! I check the website everyday.

Nothing today… I wish there was more information available about this scholarship. Wonder if they’re notifying non-selects also…

Still nothing :frowning: Only 2 days left!! When I called yesterday they said they expect it to go out this week, but if it doesn’t it will for sure by next week. I really hope they don’t do that!
