"relatively good" lol

haha u gots to luv my mazin gramer

Decently...I guess, got a relatively good AMC score (145.5) and a not so good AIME score (9)

Only on CC...

^lol, yeah my bad, I'll try not to post them again in the near future, I was too lazy to send SecretAsianMan a PM regarding his question... =)

I signed up for this out of stupidity and I realize I have only several days to prepare. help?

You don't really need to "prepare." Maybe some basic algebra/geometry review will suffice?

Oh. Well i've looked at some problems, some of them are really tricky

so when do the official results come out?

in about a week

some people have gotten their results back already.

So, who knows the British Flag Theorem?

Well, there's the 12A and 12B.. the 12B is next Tuesday. You don't need to prepare for the AMC.. in fact, you can't do much now besides.. maybe practice problems? It's just the way you think.. you're either good at it or you're not.
It was way easier to qualify when omits were 2.5 .. I qualified for the AIME as a freshman, but not since! Haha, oh well. You don't need to know any crazy theorems for the AMC... just know the basics like the back of your hand. And, by basics, I mean Alg 1 through Pre-Calc and maybe a bit of Stats, but nothing like regression.. just the simple stuff.
We have like.. 20 people take it a year... it's not known to most people in the school, just the more involved math team kids (we have ~150 on our math team, but only about 30-35 actually care enough to prepare and only 20 are available on any given afternoon)

how should i prepare for the AIME.

Two better questions:

Who doesn't know the British Flag Theorem?

What's the practical use of the British Flag Theorem on AMC level contests?

Yes, you are right, in fact the first round of emails were just sent out on Friday.

role-playing gamesPADms …ra…

^Que? Yo no entiendo.

should be "estoy no entiendo"

and I don't know the British Flag Theorem

???network card “broken?1 / pioiuppppqz0rz pfhauvcbggabggggg!

^^lol, thanks my Spanish atrocious
And the British Flag Theorem isn't very useful, I don't think I've ever used it on any math contest...
