Uh, no.

Databox had it right. :)

(you don't need the "Yo", though)

Yay! (yeah I know, but I like to stick as many yo's in as possible to make my Spanish essays seem longer lol)

Well I don't speak Spanish.

"Estoy no entendiendo" sounds retarded

can you take both 10A/10B (or 12A/12B), or just one of the two.

EDIT: seems like you can take both, but then how do you qualify for the next level(s)? Which test is used to determine the next level?

You can take both, only your highest score will be counted towards qualification.

Meh, I'm a little lazy for 10B...I wish I've heard of these tests sooner, and I wish I've actually gotten into academics/math more before lol..

I took 10A just for the lulz, and uh...I epic failed, 109.5...need to actually get into math/solving stuff, lol.

^ hey that's better than i did my first time

i got like a 106...and then the year after i got a 134.5
you can still improve :)

yeah but it'll be a different test...I'll be a junior, so I'll have to take 12A. LOL.

Let's just say I stepped into the playing field really late, I've never heard of these competitions or cared remotely about math until like a month ago.

Hey, I stepped into the playing field relatively late too. The first time I even heard of the AMC was freshman year, so you're really not doing that badly.

I'm just hoping to pass the 12.

My first practice was a 10, and I got 123 (I think), and my second practice was a 12. I got a 94 on that one, though I made a couple stupid errors, so I should have had ~105.

Nah, you're definitely not late in academics. Um, I remember reading a post by you saying that you self-studied Calculus in 6th grade. That's so late, yes.

You've already earned yourself as the reputation for being a genius, LOL @ the thought of you being even remotely close to "late".

I'm talking about the competitions not the accompanying academics, frankly, most people who come remotely close to qualifying for usamo or the like start taking the AMC's in middle school or earlier.

For People who have had experience with AMC: are all the scores sent at around the same time? Or are they sent in dispersed waves?

They are all sent at the same time.
A paper copy should reach your school soon.

The AMC 12B is tomorrow! (Sadly, I don't have a ride to it) =(

I qualified for AIME through the 12A (: Good luck tomorrow for all who are taking the 12B!

Wow looking back it's amazing how much my math has improved. I went from a 81ish on the amc 10 to a 88.5 on it to the 100.5 this year on the amc 12. Wow I've gotten so much better(makes me laugh at myself a few years ago when I was na

^Um, great job! Yeah, it's harder to jump from a 110 to a 130, but a jump from a 80 on the 10 to a 100 on the 12 is amazing!

I haven't improved much since the first time I took the AMC, my A score was just 4.5 points higher than my first score.

Please do not discuss the AMC B tests as long as it's not allowed on the AoPS forum: http://www.artofproblemsolving.com/Forum/index.php
(especially considering some of the universities offering the B tests are late in the afternoon)

Edit: Oh yeah, good luck everyone, and for those silly atheists like me, Godspeed.

^Yeah, ditto, don't discuss anything along the lines of what score you got, whether you thought it was easy/hard, whether you thought you did well/poorly, or the problems until Thursday evening at the earliest.
