<p>Lalaloo, you should definitely put down your organizing activities. That's a big part of what schools want to see in a student. You learned a lot from it, even if it didn't get your score to AIME level. Your score is beside the point. Also, remember that what you've done has helped and will continue to help other math students at your school. You should be proud of yourself!</p>
<p>If you're a senior, your AMC score is going to be too late for college applications. Focus on other parts of your application, and look beyond MIT in your college search. It's just too big a reach to make it your focus. Look for schools where your accomplishments fit within the profile of the student body.</p>
