<p>My D took the free practice test on the AMCAS site yesterday to get a sense of her strengths and weaknesses before she starts studying for the MCAT. Are there any posters here who can give examples of point increases from their first practice test to their actual MCAT score? I'm not necessarily looking for actual score numbers, just how many points the increase was. What study materials and strategies did you use?</p>
<p>I took AAMC3 about 2/3 of the way through my content review and got a 33 (this was my first practice test).</p>
<p>Ended up with a 36 on the real deal.</p>
<p>My AMCAS scores ranged from 32 to 42 and I fell in between.</p>
