AMSA practice tests

Two part question:

For those of you who did the AMSA practice tests, how much improvement did you see over the course of the 8 tests?? Also how did your best score compare to your actual MCAT score? I have heard people say that their actual score was about 2 points lower from their best Kaplan test. I am wondering if people who took Exam Krackers also find this to be true. I have heard that their best practice scores are closer to the actual scores.

D’s baseline test was a 31 with Kaplan. real score was 37 which also was her highest individual test score, range was 33-37 for the last few weeks prior to the real test, highest composite score was a 41. she thought the kaplan course was useful for learning how to take the test- the content wasn’t the hard part- thought the verbal section benefited the most from taking the kaplan course
